Week 11: #2 Indiana at Penn State (Noon, FOX) Game Thread

I have to apologize for jinxing us. Did not watch the game yesterday until 4 min to go. Was not interested in seeing Indiana blow us out.

Decided to tune in to see the final score and lo and behold we were up by 4 points with the ball. I should have turned off the Tv immediately, but instead watched us go three and out, give the ball back to Indiana who marched down the field after a sack, and scored. Wide open receivers everywhere, until the touchdown which was covered, but the kid made an amazing play.

I long for the day when PSU is able to either run out the clock, or drive down and score to ice the game, or actually make a defensive stop.

Should have never turned on the TV.
That’s it!!!!🤬 Taking you out of my will!!!!🤮

I would hope that at some point they’ve been thought what to do there but as the center, that’s Dawkins’s call and obviously since he’s the one who missed the block so bad he didn’t make the right call. Or at least can’t execute it. It’s been that way all year, cousins should be the center
I have come to believe that the returning seniors were paid too much and were given too much time off in the spring and during camp, Lack of real competition and complacency was at least part of the downfall.

Maybe not instructed well and maybe not hard workers. There's a lot that needs scrutinized with this program. Skills and attitudes at both the coaching and player levels.

I suspect there was some of that. Of course you also don't want to get kids hurt.

I'll add poor recruiting at DT & LB in addition to WR. Also the staff not preparing any LBs other than Campbell, Rojas, and #0.

Franklin wanted to be everybody’s bestie. In this portal/NIL period there is some justification but methinks he went too far.

Like a boss of a company one needs to keep a respectful distance and not be too close.

Tasch got some time yesterday and while not a stud, he proved to be at least as capable as Deluca. Probably should have been getting more reps throughout the season

Huge and fired up crowd. How many would have showed up in these circumstances at other ‘top’ universities?

This picture is not from this game. But he was just saying it was big crowd. And from tv it looked like a lot of red in the stadium.

the place was not packed, but it was well attended. Agree that it says a lot about the team and fans to get there and show the support. I think if the fans didnt show the team may have bagged it, but it seemed the energy was still there from both groups
