Yeah, the NLWC/PSU wrestling has had a bad last few months with Snyder's prostitution sting arrest, the allegations against Carter, and now this. It doesn't give a good impression of the NLWC nationally.
You reminded me to finish the the article on Starocci I started yesterday. What a f'ing mess that is. Makes Snyder's and Brooks' mistakes look kinda small. I had no idea there was strife inside the locker room due to Starocci.

The article is ok, my main problem with it is they should have not printed the part on the abuse allegations since there was only unnamed sources. Now in the court of public opinion he has to prove his innocence without even knowing who is accusing him which is impossible. We've seen this movie before. There may very well be named people talking to law enforcement but there isn't even a GJ indictment or anything and the paper just runs with it.
The accusations of theft, nude pics in locker room, and various other inappropriate/possibly illegal behavior coming from Beau's side alone make Carter look horrible but throw in the abuse allegations and it's crazy bad.
If Beau's side is true I'm not sure why he didn't make more of a big stink about things with Cael, if he did and Cael brushed it off b/c of how good Carter was then that's definitely bad. People could claim Cael tried to cover it up by not doing more but he didn't try to squash Beau going to the cops to report the stolen watch and other stuff, not sure how he covered anything up if he allowed Beau to go "outside the program" with the allegations. I also didn't understand the article's part claiming UPPD police couldn't find Carter to ask him about the stolen goods? That makes zero sense b/c Carter's not exactly hard to find being in the wrestling complex almost every single day.....one side is lying about that.

There has been some level of division between Cael and University leadership over the recent allegations and lack of controls/reporting. Cael has options. I have no idea how credible the rumors are, so it could be nothing.

Why everyone needed to be patient. No way Cael would tolerate nonsense. He has no reason to. Carter is officially off of the suspension list as well. Looks like someone on Twitter/X, got a little too big for her britches.
I don't know what happened/didn't happen off the mat or in practice. I do know this: Carter 5x champ. Beau Bartlett: 0x champ and lots of excuses. I tend to give the benefit of the doubt to the people who put their head down and do the work needed to be great over those who come close but then point fingers at others for why they failed.

I see your point. In fact, it was said that Carter kind of dogged Beau about not having the "killer instinct." I'm not defending Carter if he stole, assaulted a woman, or otherwise was an ******* in the wrestling room, but some of this does sound like sour grapes.
I can't find any announcement, but I went out to the site housing the list and he's not on the list nor on the full suspension list. As expected crickets from anyone who posted the interim list when he was on it.
