When did players start to get revenue sharing payments?

I read something that said July 1st but I also saw something that said August 1st.

Are these payments part of signed contracts?
How long ago were the deals finalized?
Was it a distraction to make financial deals so close to the season?
Can the staff keep a little in their back pockets to pay performance based bonuses?

Unsure, but probably a signed contract.

I assume many were talked out preliminary in the months coming up to the settlement (it was 99.99% sure to pass).

Good question on distractions. We won't hear about this until a coach is on the hot seat and he starts looking for excuses I figure. Nobody has sat out...yet.

I'm going to say no on performance bonuses.
