Will Saban return to coaching?

He's 73. He is the GOAT but it is hard to believe he wants to spend that kind of time, or has that kind of time, these days. So his first season with a new team he'd be 74. But it will take far less time to build a team as five+ years ago, it was about recruiting. Now it is NIL and Xfer portal.

I think you're right about age being a big factor. I recall one of the reasons he left was the problem with re-recruiting his roster. There won't be many changes to that process so I expect that would remain a barrier.

I agree, but then again, I'd of lost money on Belichick going to UNC (or any college for that matter...unless the girlfriend was part of his compensation :o))

Saban has already done the pro football gig. I would expect he wouldn't be dumb enough to work for Jerry Jones.
Yep, and with actual rules that are enforced it seems to me like the NFL wouldn't be attractive to him. He didn't fare well there in his first go around, and found a home in the SEC where rules are meant to be broken......
