Zane Durant Wrecks Games Film Review

I saw this one today before I saw this. Love the For the Blogy film break-downs wth Coach Codutti. Didn't know Landon had joined forces with FTB. I also like that Landon shared some of his personal experience going against Zane. Kind of made it that much better. My main thought on watching it was just hoping that Zane stays healthy all year and has the breakout he's capable of.

FTB is doubling their content this year with Landon doing breakdowns in addition to Codutti's. I believe Coach is back next week.

During the season, I believe we get 2 videos (1 from each).

Tengwall breaking down Durant film.
Size-wise he reminds me of Aaron Donald. Which reminds me of a post-game rant Franklin did after one of our losses when he was complaining about us being too small on the DL saying they were trying to play small like Aaron Donald, and there's only one of him. Anyone remember who/what CJF was referring to? I can Google it if no one remembers.

Would Gabriel Nwosu be too small?

Think he may have been referring to Hakeem Beamon who was @265 at the time on the Dline but very quick.

I guess it was in Spring practice 2023. I thought it was after a game. I guess 265 would be small, especially in a longer frame. Beamon was 6'4. 6'1 290 probably is a pretty good combination of power and speed, especially when you add good technique.

Was it after Michigan in '22 where they throttled us there?

Beamon, in addition to being a little light for DT, just wasn't explosive enough, good enough to make up for is lack of size and strength, which is why he quit last season with a number of games left after getting passes in the depth chart by Ford.

It seems that unless a DT is super talented they need to be around 300 lbs or a little more to hold their position against the top Olines PSU faces and not get run over by the opponents running game.
