Here are your top PA HS players. I added here due to our 2027 commits. BTW, the article had this picture of OT Kevin Brown. He is not your typical OL recruit. No bad weight here. Recall that he squatted 615 this past summer.
Kevin Brown (2027 PSU commit)
School: Harrisburg
Position: OL
HT/WT: 6-5, 290
The Brown File: The Penn State commit might just be the baddest man putting on pads in Pa. this year. Don’t believe it? Check the film. Few offensive lineman are built like Brown — he is more Brock Lesnar than Billy Bob from Varsity Blues — and few move like him, too. The guy is in the hurt business, seeking out and destroying defenders, while paving the way for Harrisburg’s always dangerous offense. And, for as big and bad a dude as he is on offense, he can be a monster on defense, too. Not a guy anyone in the state — really the country (check the reports from the elite camps) — wants to line up against.
Maxwell Hiller (2028 PSU TARGET)
School: Coatesville
Position: OL
HT/WT: 6-6, 295
Class: Junior
The Hiller File: Hiller is among the most coveted linemen in the country and the film shows why. He is massive with long levers, good feet — the guy is fluid and moves well — with the ability to lock a guy up and dominate him with his strength, too.
Kemon Spell (2028 PSU commit)
School: McKeesport
Position: RB
HT/WT: 5-11, 175
Class: Junior
The Spell File: The Penn State commit might be the most electric player in Pa. with the ball in his hands. Considered one of the top running backs in the nation, Spell rushed for 1,617 yards a season ago.
Messiah Mickens (2027 PSU commit)
School: Harrisburg
Position: RB
HT/WT: 5-11, 200
Class: Senior
The Mickens File: The Penn State commit was Pennsylvania’s Gatorade Player of the Year last season because of his tremendous two-way play. Mickens is a powerful and explosive runner, who rushed for 1,214 yards and 21 touchdowns. He was unblockable coming off the edge on defense, too, collecting 81 tackles, 39 for loss, and 16.5 sacks.
Matt Sieg (2027 PSU commit)
School: Fort Cherry
Position: ATH
HT/WT: 6-0, 185
Class: Senior
The Sieg File: Sieg is committed to Penn State and will likely play safety there. And his speed and ability to cover ground make him special on the backend of the defense. His ability to play multiple positions gets him the nod at athlete on our team becuase he has also been one of the state’s most productive quarterbacks across his career. Sieg accounted for 3,190 yards — 1,840 rushing, 1,350 passing — and 52 touchdowns last season, and also had 50 tackles and four interceptions.
Khalil Taylor, WR, Pine-Richland (2028 PSU commit)— The 5-foot-11, 180-pound junior transferred to Pine-Richland from Seton Lasalle in the offseason and has been ruled ineligible for the postseason. The speedster, who is committed to Penn State, caught 51 passes for 932 yards and 22 touchdowns last season and figures to be one of the top playmakers in the state again.
