Franklin Fired -It’s over...

It's official.

I think Franklin's days ended when OSU had turmoil and Meyer left, they had a new coach and Franklin still lost to them.

Should have never been extended. Thank you Sandy (I know Hotshoe, just messing with you)

Told ya he was gone. Lmao! 😆 💋💋💋
OK, he's gone but I can't rejoice over turmoil and I can't hate in the man. Kraft did what had to be done. CJF has plenty of $ for him and his family to find a nice place to settle down. After the smoke clears he'll probably end up on TV next year.
Now, interim HC Terry Smith has yeoman work ahead to try to steady this football team (coaches & players).

Short term (1-3 year) fixes will be expensive with coaches and NIL, but with facility upgrades, increased ticket prices, the hype, and protecting the brand, it is what it is.

Tell Nick Singleton to sit out the rest of the year or just bench him. Start Kaytron, and any carries that should go to Singleton should be going to the younger backs.

The fact that Singleton even saw the field yesterday and the week before speaks volumes about Franklin.

And unlike most here, I'm not blaming this on the OC.

This offense had Franklin's fingerprints all over it.

I don't hate Franklin. I think he did some good things. My main problem with him is that there was always some other reason than him that we couldn't win at the highest levels. It was players. Or it was coordinators. Or it was the administration not being in alignment. He had everything he needed this year, and this was the result. He finally ran out of excuses.

I don't like Franklin.
He was 100% about himself and getting himself more money from the University.
He fired and forced out a bunch of good coordinators.
He ran off anyone who opposed everything his way.

He ran the program through himself when he wanted more pay then blamed others when he didn't succeed.

That's not what you want from a leader.
