But I think Franklin has lost credibility with us fans, if not the players. In retrospect maybe his Ohio State win in 2016 was kind of a bad thing, as it led us to expect he can do it again. I think James is a decent guy all-in-all, but he doesn't seem to be able to grow. He only wins when he has more talent, not because he knows how to game plan or execute better on game day. We will likely never out-recruit some schools. I think he needs to go to a school where he can recruit at a level that would allow him to possibly win it all. We need someone who can maximize the talent he gets and not blink on game day when the other team is as good or better on paper. What are some jobs that may be lateral or slightly better from a recruiting standpoint that may be open and would consider him?
