They specifically said in their statement that it wasn't political.
But for him to come out like this means the show leaned heavily left... which he would deny.
Funny how when they went after Fox... no issues from him.

Looking at those number, I think the reveal is in the target demographic. 2.4m viewers but only 220,000 in the key demo graphic of 18 - 49 year olds? That suggests mostly old or young people watching and I don't think it is young. So that leaves only old people. So the late night talk show is dying. At one point in my life, I'd stay up to make sure I caught the opening of Carson/Letterman/Leno/Conan. They were witty and funny. They took shots, fairly, at both sides. For the most part, they made fun of the body politic; pointing out the hypocrisy on both sides. That was before they started preaching and being partisan, telling us what we should think. It is really another outlet dominated by the left that is collapsing and that is why they are outraged.
