Who doesn’t like to occasionally see some hot lesbian action, but it is getting to be too much on streaming. We have noticed that just about every show we watch on Netflix has lesbian relationships or intimacy over the last few years. Are 1/4 to 1/2 of females really lesbian or bi? We have several streaming tv services and it is most obvious that netflix pushes this theme the most. I have no problems with lgbt folks at all, but cannot help but notice this trend.

No doubt. That's Hollywood which doesn't look anything like America on the whole. I especially love the gay and trans interracial couples. It's an agenda.
Yep, the only place that is worse than Hollywood in that regard would be the school systems that put out flyers or videos. every school system here in Central Maryland uses videos, posters, professional development, videos, etc. where the students families and employees are all something that actually accounts for less than one percent of a society group.
I’m going to say that there are less than 1/10 of one percent of the families in the area that have a non-binary set of parents who appear to prefer the opposite gender of what they look like, one being white and one being Hispanic, and they have black male child who plays the violin and an Asian female child who appears to like football

What is interesting to me is that someone from another planet looking at our media would conclude that 50% of humans are LGQBT... That 50% of Americans are black.... That most relationships are inter-racial..... That most small friend groups have one person from every racial background.
It's clearly an agenda/social engineering. It does seem to be somewhat working as I'm sure that these intentional mis-representations are influencing relationships over the decades. I'm pretty sure that the percentage of relationships that are LGQBT and inter-racial have dramatically increased over the last couple of decades.
To be clear, I don't care about showing these types of relationships. It's just obvious to me that they are showing them disproportionate to the actual population. I don't personally like it when any of it is shown provocatively. For example, commercials or shows of trans/cross-dressing (Ru Paul type) are always intentionally inappropriate stuff (it is inappropriate from trans or hetero) that I don't want to see randomly showing up on our screens in front of kids. I mean wearing essentially fetish lingerie is not appropriate for anyone in commercials that randomly show up while watching normal shows at normal times.
Agreed it is social engineering and it is clear the intent is to normalize or even show it is a superior relationship, but why do you think netflix is more invested in it than other services? It seems like they specifically have been given orders to emphasize lesbian relationships.
Yup, it's an agenda...and it's working. A stunning Gallup poll a couple years ago showed almost 30% of Gen Z females between the ages of 18-26 put themselves on the LGBTQ spectrum, which is mindboggling and light years higher than the number indicated in any previous data.
This, in turn, is related to the phenomenon of an explosion in the numbers of teenagers calling themselves transgender...though it's possible this particular fad, clearly fueled by social contagion, may have peaked as the casualty count of damaged bodies and ruined lives piles up while Trump's administration cracks down on the criminal medical quackery behind "gender-affirming care." (George Orwell, call your office.)
In fact, this is exactly what I was getting at in the recent thread I started on the two summer movies. The casting and character choices were clearly a case of soft indoctrination on the part of the Hollywood studios. You have to connect the dots to see the picture...and it's not a pretty one.
I have one kid going to 7th grade and one kid going to 12th grade, and they tell me that other than a couple furries and trans kids it does still seem to be typical heterosexual student population. And our high school is a good sample size as it’s nearly 3000 students here in eastern Pennsylvania. It does seem like this would be a negative thing to the folks that run Netflix!

It's unfortunate, but hollywood is filled with weirdos and they are pushing their agenda.
We put six kids through the Maryland public school system between the period 1989-2011 and indoctrination methods of the type described by Bison above were less forceful and pervasive...plus the administration would generally work with us if we had any concerns about a particular class or program. The student population itself at the time seemed more or less "normal" if you want to use that word.
Things have gotten a lot more intense and programmed since then, according to everything I've heard, though I couldn't speak to the actual current numbers of LGBTQ-identifying kids. None of our grandchildren go to public school. In any case, I don't think that 2023 Gallup poll was an accident or a mistake:

My friend's daughter insisted she was a non-binary lesbian when she hit her teen years. She fell victim to the "you're struggling with adolescence, let's trans you" mantra. Even insisted everyone call her by a generic name that clouded gender.
Now at 18, she's still got issues, but, based on her dating habits she's nothing but a straight female. So par for the course.

I always thought it was awfully pretentious of people who recite lines or sing songs for millions of dollars and who are so far disconnected from the reality of the masses to preach to the rest of us who have or had to work for a living. I'm sorry if I wasn't blessed with a beautiful voice or quite good looking enough or well connected to get on the big screen, but what do these clowns know about what they lecture? I'm thinking that they are the last people anyone should listen to because they don't even experience the same set of problems or concerns.
The fertility rates greatly concern me. Heck, even Latinos no longer reproduce at replacement levels in the U.S. Historically they were well above replacement levels. Whites and African Americans both reproduce at similar low levels, approx 24% below replacement. Asians here mimic their fertility rates in developed Asian countries- at least 33% less than replacement levels. This means that this brutal math will start working pretty quickly on our population size. Lots going on here such as the destruction of the traditional family as you state, and some people just are admittedly too materialistic to want kids, but also our environment and food supply are so toxic that it makes it more difficult many couples to conceive without medical intervention. Male sperm counts are plummeting in developed countries. I think this goes down a dark road that you may need to obtain a government issued license to reproduce in some dark dystopian future society.

I seriously don't understand how folks can be this limited. The "abnormal" is portrayed on film/TV more often than the normal because it's more interesting.
It's no different than looking at movies and TV shows and saying "hey, based on this, you'd think everyone is an international spy ... or a dinosaur. Jeez, I keep watching Netflix, and the White House keeps getting attacked ... yet, it never gets attacked in real life. I mean, really!"
