The federal government budget itself adds about a fourth of GDP and then add in perhaps another $5 trillion from multipliers. And that is only from the federal government. Without government spending you're looking at 20% unemployment which voters will never accept. Even conservate farmers since their markets will go way down.

No. I realize you're using the current methodology, but it is deeply flawed. 1) It changed under Obama to stop counting a lot of the long term unemployed, and 2) almost all the reported job growth under Biden was government workers and illegal aliens for the private sector. Sorry, but that number you cited is just BS, and you know you should be putting it in its proper context or use the more accurate older method. Under Trump the federal government workforce is being slashed and illegal aliens are fleeing the workforce in droves. Almost all the new employment numbers are both private sector and filled by Americans. They are both exceeding projections, and continually getting revised upwards, while it was the opposite under Biden. Oh, and real wages are going up, but that's a separate issue.
