Spiro Agnew, small-time crook, and short-lived Vice President under Nixon, described the members of this "little club" best: they are an effete corps of impudent snobs who characterize themselves as intellectuals. Today, we have more than our share of the nattering nabobs of negativism. They have formed their own 4H Club-the hopeless, hysterical hypochondriacs of history.

I had problems with McAndrews politics and dishonesty. When Nikole Hannah Jones lied about the American Revolution being fought to preserve slavery, he defended her. Of course, he deleted accurate posts. Also, his Covid posts almost exclusively relied on govt sources, many of which were found to have lied or mislead.

I thank god I saw thru the COVID vaccine nonsense which was brought to us by every level of government. IMO, many deaths and injuries were caused by their "safe and effective" message. Rational people should never again blindly trust the trust the science crowd.

Prior to my post, this thread is largely a combination of trolls who couldn't control their behaviors enough to coexist in a civilized, reasonable medium ... trying to rationalize why this inability wasn't their fault ... and folks who are so overly sensitive that they couldn't handle someone checking their behavior at all, flipping out to the extent that they can't coexist with these folks, "forcing" them to leave and then launching into a martyr act.

All I know is that I always wore a disposable CVS virus-proof mask and went only to those virus-free big box stores where I walked in the same aisle-specific direction and six feet apart as did everyone else. I was also relieved when they let me know that heroes worked there. And special thanks goes to CDC, JAMA, Lancet, et al for providing the science.

NAH, he definitely deleted or removed posts that were truthful, but when against whatever the topic was and his opinion of it. It wasn’t just political stuff like Covid, he deleted post regarding recruiting anything with a Philadelphia pro sports team or that kind of stuff.

As a physicist, my observations of the covid era (or error) were that it was possibly the most anti-science period in modern history. It is as if we threw out everything that we knew about science and medicine and replaced it with groupthink lunacy while those who understood the underlying science were shouted down, threatened, or silenced by any means.
