Michigan scandal thread

From ESPN …,”Later Friday, Michigan issued a statement saying it would appeal the NCAA ruling.”

UM wanted to self sanction and the NCAA said no.

And to look back to 2012, PSU laid down and took all the sanctions full throttle
Yep penalizing all the players that were in the program from something happening over 10 years earlier. Somehow now they don't want to punish the current student athletes. Even though half the team there now was part of what happened there. Idiots.

Yep. To me this is much worse than the transfer portal, NIL and/or player salaries in college football. What it says is “if you cheat, you’ll get a fine”. $20m fine for Michigan is like giving Bill Gates a $20 parking ticket. Every top 20 school spends that every year to try and win a natty.

At this point, off the field in college football, there aren’t any rules
