Ohio State - Texas

Arch is hesitant to pull the trigger, taking too long to look around back there. He's had a pretty shaky half so far but a young guy against this D in this stadium...tough challenge.

He's a runner first. I think you have to work off that. Guessing this is why he was sent to Sark to develop his passing and why he was in no hurry to transfer out last year.

Good point.

He's gonna have to hit some throws because you ain't gonna beat this Buckeye D with a one-dimensional offense.

I mean, 1st half over...zero points...26 passing yards. Ouch.

Sayin hasn't been great but he's looked smoother than Arch.

Yep. He’s also not getting any time to throw

I don't know, Sheriff, I think his OL has held up pretty well. But he's hesitating back there...not pulling the trigger.

Granted, the Buckeye secondary is its usual superior self so it could be that his receivers are having a hard time getting separation. On the other hand, his first throw missed a wide open guy.

We've seen this before though. A blue-chip talent, top-10 recruit, takes the field to big-time hype and then doesn't immediately perform to that expectation. I mean, Arch started two games last year and he's still very short in the experience department.

It will be interesting to see what adjustments Sark makes at halftime. They need some production on O.

Terrible slow-developing play on the 2nd and goal with Manning dancing around looking for an opening.

The Texas back made something out of nothing on 3rd and goal to get the ball within inches of the goal line.

And then everyone knew the QB sneak was coming.

You gotta credit Ohio State...as much as I hate to.

Some of you guys should go to orangebloods. The negativity is overwhelming. Many complaints against Arch manning. On occasion, I have seen similar types of game day Commonents on PSU Board
