Ohio State - Texas

Tate with a huge TD catch. Perhaps the throw is why Hartline hasn't called much downfield, but with these WRs, just get it close and they will bail you out.

I read where in one book somebody made a $950,000 bet on Texas as a 3-point underdog which moved the betting line to one point. I'm thinking that guy isn't feeling very good right now. Then again, presumably you have money to burn if you're going to put that much down on a football game.

I think it made Texas the favorite.

On that last play, the middle linebacker was clapping continuously until the snap. No call. Game the other night it was called with much less clapping involved.

Not often you get a game this good on the first Saturday of the season.

Really looking forward to seeing Arch Manning in action. Can he live up to the hype...not to mention his famous name.

(IANIT, not sure if it's OK to post this topic here...or if you preferred it under gameday threads.)
Ohio state is still good and will be ranked number 1. This is good IMO. We need to take care of business until we play them and then take care of business in Columbus.

The stats for either team and players are not earth shattering. Maybe Arch is just okay and the "vaunted" Texas D is exactly what Cam Skattebo showed it to be. There will be better clarity at midseason.
