Huh? His recruiting classes rank ~ 15th except for the 2022 class who will all be gone after this season.

I think his bowl record at PSU is 6-6.

Bowls aren't a thing anymore.
Yep, there's also his record vs top 25 teams, and against top 10 teams, which are abysmal.

Look up the definition of "powerhouse" and you'll see that what you are selling is a blatant lie.

Franklin has the best home field advantage, the laregest alumni population and many other advantages yet his record is very average, and down right abysmal vs top 10 or even top 25 teams.

Franklin's resume against competent, top 25 teams should have gotten him fired a couple of years ago, and hopefully it will get him fired after this season.

Franklin's best attribute is his recruiting family pitch which has gone by the wayside for the most talented high school players who now want top money as well. Obviously his investment this season in Allar and Singleton was a misallowcation of resources and would have been better spent on the recruiting trail. Franklin just lost a commitment from a top WR from western PA and he is likely going to lose Spell from McKeesport who said that he's going out to look for the best deal, which won't come from PSU.

Penn State fans have every reason to boo Franklin and I hope they make their feelings know when he runs out onto the field this afternoon.

It appears that UCLA accidently discovered that firing the coaching staff and replacing it with temporary help works better than locking in a $10m+ coaching staff for ten years. 🤔

Did not age well.

Franklin needs tell his players that they're too tight and they should let him loosen the noose that's around their necks.
It seems too late for that this season. He needs to get some playmakers on the field from among the younger skill players and work them in with Katron and the transfer WR's (who aren't making it) to combine with Grunk and give Grunk some plays that he can execute but also some down the field throws that loosen up defenses.

Right now the DL just isn't good enough but that's not going to change.

Pick the best of the younger LB's and play them a good bit. I saw Wylie play today. Didn Speca or Tatsch play more than a snap or two?

Secondary was supposed to be the best unit on D but they regularly got beat today. The best of the NW WR's seemed to get open too regularly. Should he have been double teamed more...

You missed the joke.

Many of the younger players may want to sit out the rest of season to protect their redshirt

Sadly, every other coach out there is slime, evil, or just someone we don't want...
Kiffin
Meyer
Rhule
etc.

So, having no suitable Franklin replacement in the CFB ranks, I nominate an AI generated head coach. It would be a first and easy to fire in three years.

We're going after Urban Meyer and, unfortunately, Rhule. Kiffin would never fit here.
