Must have had James Andrews do the surgery. I should say someone at his clinic. James Andrews retired last year at 81.Shows him in a full leg cast….or bandaged.

I agree with your comments about his weaknesses but I strongly disagree that he wouldn't have made much of a difference vs UCLA (or NW or Iowa). We lost those games by a combined score of 7 points. I think we would have easily won all 3 of those games if we had Rojas.Rojas is fast, but I've often seen him get caught up in traffic, end up chasing, and not wrapping up. I'm not sure if there would have been much of a difference in the outcome had he played in the UCLA game. His attitude is great and he will definitely be needed in 2026, but that LB room needs to be built back up.

At this point I'd be happy with a good Gino Capone type run stuffer at MLB. That's how desperate I am.Going forward, "purchasing" a smart, talented MLB will go a long way in helping the 2026 team. I'm watching the UNL-Iowa and the LBs are underwhelming. LBs like Parsons, early Carter, and others with attitudes who enjoy blowing up the opposition are expensive, but key to holding the defense together.
