I think you go for the HR hire, TS is single in the gap that he may stretch in to a double. Love the guy, done a good job so far and could hold on to quite a few of the players and recruits.
Here’s my big question for everyone though, there was a contingent of posters who swore that if Rhule was hired, a bunch of old alumni money would get dumped into the program because of the ties to JoePa. Why aren’t we hearing the same with Smith? He’s a JoePa player too.

There's no need to dump a bunch of money to lure Smith from another head coaching job or any of the other coaches. That extra money could be used to lure other asst coaches or better players. PSU won't have as good of a roster no matter who comes in. Someone in an established head coaching job would require buy outs for him and some of our coaches.
