Week 13: Nebraska at Penn State (7:00 pm, NBC) Game Thread

Woah! What a pitch for Terry Smith from MRob!
I get the sentiment that Terry isn't a big enough name. Franklin, despite our complaints, is a good football coach. You feel a need to make a splash as an AD. You've already missed out on Elko and Cignetti. Freeman's just not leaving ND for anywhere but the NFL or Ohio State. I'm not excited about Drink or Key after their performances today. I think if you can't get DeBoer or Chesney, you go with Terry.

So, Georgia Tech is losing 35-14 to Pitt in the 3rd quarter. Does Key not understand that a prospective Penn State coach can't lose to Pitt?

I understand that Nebraska lost Raiola but what happened to their defense and our offense? Michigan didn't score like this against Nebraska. Neither did USC. Our OL is blocking, the guards are pulling, the TEs are blocking, the WRs are blocking. Where has this been all year? We kept watching guys like Tengwall show us replays of missed blocks. Did we simplify the schemes?

We focused on running the ball with our best RB.

Our starting qb started improving and made critical throws.

If we ran this offense earlier in the year... let's call it the 'no stupid ideas offense' we would probably have 3 more wins
