Talk about the Nittany Lions vs. the Ducks here.
Drew has to play like a big boy in a game that matters to shut people up. I haven't really seen defenses stop him. I've seen him stop himself. He's usually protected, but inexplicably comes out missing the mark. He has a great opportunity tonight. NFL scouts are just waiting to give him boatloads of money if he'll play the way he can. We'll see how accurate Moore is with DDS and company in his face every time he sets up to throw.Oh great. Nice way to start game day...reading the assessment of an alleged "quarterback guru" that the Oregon QB is the best in college football through the first month of the season while Drew...sucks.

OK, obviously he didn't use the word "sucks" but I think that's a real-world translation of his comments:

I expect Singleton to start and both backs to get equal carries unless one of them starts to excel.Yep. If you watch Drew without the glasses, he isn't accurate and hasn't played an NFL game.
My fear today is we stick with Singleton, he runs into the backs of his blockers like the last three weeks, missing the holes, and we rely on Drew who misses everything.
Like ND game all over again.
My hope today is we run Allen, open up some gigantic space in passing game and Drew improves.

Everyone keeps comparing offenses, they forget that Defense is also part of the game. Oregon has given up rushing yards and has two Young inexperienced corners.Ducks still giving up loads of rushing yards. Pound it at them!!

Penn State Vs. Oregon: Tale of the Tape
A look at the most intriguing matchups when the Nittany Lions face the Ducks in prime time.www.si.com
I'm not sure what advantages PSU has because Oregon is loaded with 5* and high 4* talent everywhere including Oregon's QB & WRs. If PSU has an advantage it's that our players are more experienced and we have the home field. Our defensive line versus their defensive line is a significant plus for Penn State. I think the secondary is also a plus for Penn State and most of the other spots are a wash. I know that those groups don’t specifically play against each other on the field, but to me, I think our defense will hold them and check Throughout most of the game and at least give us opportunities.
2nd and 18 and they run a give-up play.
Throw the friggin' ball downfield.
Oregon is too fast for those plays. Drive it in. Look for TEsBaffling offensive playcalling thus far.
Just under 300 yards rushing in the B10 Championship game last fall, and Coach K already calling gadget plays.
