Week 6: #7 Penn State at UCLA (3:30 PM, CBS) Game Thread

I knew this would be a tough game, no matter what happened vs. Oregon. This is ridiculous. 24-7. Funny - before the game I was looking at my phone without glasses and thought I saw 64-31 UCLA. It was 0-4 vs 3-1. We'll win this. But it's going to be tough sledding for a while.

Your faith is inspiring, IA. Can't say I share it.

Their QB is on fire now and our D still hasn't gotten off the bus...or airplane...or whatever they rode in on.

Noooooooooooooooo WR separation on the 3rd down. Play the Freshmen!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then run the clock out, behind by 17.

This is going to go down as a loss similar to losing to Toledo or Temple.

Dear God.

UCLA looks like we were supposed to.

And we look like UCLA was supposed to.

Meanwhile, Nessler and Danielson are openly wondering what in the world our coaching staff is thinking.

This is unreal.

Coaching staff should get on a separate plane and fly to the unemployment line.

We're cooked if we don't get something figured out on defense. No more handoffs to Singleton. Lean on Kaytron.

"no problem, we'll clean up the 1000 things we screwed up this half in a couple minutes at half time. No problem...."

Was that the worst overall performance in PSU football history?

We didn't stop UCLA one time.
Offensive play calling is a disaster.
Clock management is the worst the announcers have ever seen.

UCLA is dead last in the BiG averaging 14 pts per game. They only scored 10 all game vs NEW MEXICO!
