Week 7: Northwestern at Penn State (3:30 PM, FS1) Game Thread

On the firsr series, Kaytron was basically not sTopped.

He got 2 on firsr down and then each of his other two rushes he got more than he needed.

Why can't we just run the ball and get a td?
It's not based on the situation. Everything is pre-planned. Kotelnicki needs to run his plays. There are better HS coaches out there. Maybe AI playcalling is in the future.

When a player, Drew, shows you who he is, believe him. Bench him for the next possession. How can they expect players to follow a proven loser? 2nd game in a row where 9ur $3+ million DC cannot get off the field.

UCLA beat MSU 38-13 today in East Lansing. I had a feeling they were a little better than their record indicated. Does not excuse our loss, but something was majorly wrong with the coaching during the first 4 games.

Don't reinvent Rojas after the fact. He may be fast, but has not shown that his issues with reads and shedding blocks were resolved. Nico still would have had a big game.

All those Pena LOS passes are being snuffed out the once the pre season was over. If that's all Pena has give Denmark a shot.

I think they're poorly designed and/or executed. Not sure, but the D was onto it quickly. When Oregon or Bama run it, the passes are quick and the back has at least a five-yard cushion.

I think we need to get Singleton into the game so it doesn't look like favoritism. That's what great ambassadors of the university would do.

By the way, Indiana just gashed picked Oregon's D apart on a 75-yard answer drive after the Ducks hit a long TD pass to take a 7-3 lead. This after a 3-and-out where they looked discombobulated on the previous series. That's what happens when you don't coach scared.
