Bummer for Shelton
DB was step for step. It didn't matter when he threw it or to where.Again though, Allar's throw should have been a little sooner and deeper.
I disagree. I want to see him take chances like that now and then. Trust the receiver to make a play or get the interference call at the worst.I mean that ball should have never been thrown
He had separation earlier, had to slow up for the ball. Rewatch it. In fairness, Ross's speed is different than the other WRs.DB was step for step. It didn't matter when he threw it or to where.
One on one, deep shots are definitely OK. If a safety was there too, then I'd say ill-advised. But it was a good 50/50 ball shot.I disagree. I want to see him take chances like that now and then. Trust the receiver to make a play or get the interference call at the worst.
I think his year one they drilled not taking chances into him. I'm not sure he has ever fully left that behind. His TD/INT ratio is outstanding. But he doesn't help us be as explosive as we could be.Allar is not intuitive. He throws after, not as, the receiver comes open. Not sure it can be taught.
Allar has all the physical tools to be an NFL quarterback but I’m not convinced he has it between the ears.Allar is not intuitive. He throws after, not as, the receiver comes open. Not sure it can be taught.
If I'm the great Matt Patricia, I already have my game plan ready versus Allar. Happy feet and off-throws.
