A child born in the US to an illegal immigrant isn't an illegal immigrant ... they're a US citizen because they were born here, and are subject to our jurisdiction. And they are allowed to be a citizen of another country, as the US doesn't require them to renounce their citizenship elsewhere - dual citizenship is allowed.

Very simple, straightforward and settled. Trump is trying to usurp the Constitution by claiming otherwise, and you're just mindlessly parroting whatever you think he said, not even aware that his EO isn't currently effective.

So is your argument babies born from diplomats are US citizens too? Because the law says otherwise. But by your argument being illegal makes it legal? Hmm, the Supreme Court let Trump's executive order stand, which should have been a no doubt overruling if it violated a law.

They haven’t substantively ruled on the EO yet.

The diplomat situation was already covered and the immunity extends to their families.

He spends too much time on Reddit where they have convinced themselves that we believe the 'MS13' explanation of the MS13 gang tattoo is on his hands.

It's totally hilarious, and yet sad.

So then, when Trump says 'he has ms13 right on his hands' they think Trump believes this photo doesn't have ms13 written for context and the ms13 gang tattoos right below that context.

Even though a conversation about why each symbol means what it does was had at the time.

No, he insisted it was written right out. Not on his fingers ... on his knuckles. Never mind those "interpretations" themselves were unreasonable and unsupported, but Trump insisted interpretations weren't necessary, because it was written out as MS 13 ... on the knuckles.

The second you say it wasn't opens the door to some 'interpretation' mistake which is where the interviewer wanted to go.

The interviewer, who was hostile, wanted your hero Maryland Dad to NOT be a gangbanger and was looking to say he was just a nice guy with MS13 tattoos by mistake.

Trump wasn't having it and so just said it was written out.

Very few minimum wage earners working on farms and hotels have "paid into the system" except for SS taxes. They use things like schools and medical facilities that cost a lot more than that.
