Some seem disappointed that all the ISU transfers to PSU are not 4 star rated. But a full roster will include depth players. It seems impossible to have 80 4 star players on a roster that have enough experience and development to be top starters. Top transfers are not going to teams to sit and teams can't afford to pay big money for 40 incoming transfers that each want over a $milliion. Campbell knows his ISU roster and the players he believes can contribute as well as those that can develop into contributors. A team needs some top special teams players as well. Way too early to start complaining.

I imagine Lynn is in town and contributing to defensive roster development. CMC "suggests" that his ISU guys are good value propositions and fill an immediate need, but then the coordinators are given their budgets and are allowed to go shopping.

From the comments on this tweet.

Add Gabe Burkle, TE, RS-JR, to that list as well, as the 6-foot-7 Iowa product has committed to Penn State.

Iowa State true freshman transfer QB Alex Manske has Committed to Penn State, he tells

6'3" 355lbs Freshman OL from Hawaii who Campbell had described as a "wow guy" and "as impressive as any young guy offensive linemen who has ever come in here" during their summer camp this past year. Those Pacific Islanders often move well at higher weights.
