Week 11: #2 Indiana at Penn State (Noon, FOX) Game Thread

I know many things would need to go our way, but i do think there is a possibility of an upset. Running the ball and shortening the game would be a significant help. The DBs need to be disciplined. Playing some of thr younger WRs and LBs might help. There is nothing to lose so the team should play loose. It is not likely but o think it is possible

My long shot hope was that Grunk would quickly emerge as a freshman phenom but that didn't happen. The passing problem is obviously bigger than the QB & WRs.

DT is a problem and we haven't recruited recruited LBs so it's not a surprise how much the defense is struggling without Rojas.

Recruiting has been weak for the past 3 years and now we've got defections. Add that the remaining players seem to be confused about their assignments. I'm not sure if we could beat Syracuse right now much less Indiana. It's going to be a long road back.

I fear this will be worse than the last game. IU has a powerful running game along with a great QB. I expect them to dominate the line and control the ball and the game. Machine-like.
Weak at DT + Campbell being the only good LB leaves PSU seriously exposed to the run.

I've noticed PSU lining up with just Campbell & Deluca at LB. Opponents send a guy in motion and Deluca follows him. That leaves only Campbell and maybe a blitzing safety to stop the run.

Student body left or right Toss Sweep on first down. RBs need to get a minimum of five yards. No 2nd and 9s, otherwise AK will be forced to call the Flea Flicker throw back screen off the Statue of Liberty. Known to be effective when down by a score and the recess bell is about to ring.

Zero intermediate or long pass attempts. You have to back thr defense up. These gane plans are maddening.
A good message for change would be if people left at halftime. Guys are getting rich while they destroy Penn State football.

LBs, DL, and OC are glaring weaknesses. FU Franklin and Barbour. Although Cignetti is providing the blueprint for the rebuild.
I think Knowles made some adjustments for this game.
Apparently, he still doesn’t know how to stop a scrambling QB from running over us …easy walk into the end zone smh
