Unlike when we were all there, Penn State now gives the full week off for Thanksgiving. Many of those kids went home yesterday or early this morning. If it was a noon game, I think he would’ve seen at least some of students stay. As far as the rest of the fans, I think this is one time where they didn’t want the night game.

Thats another reason to get the young guys involved and having some success on the field. A nucleus of younger players having success wearing B&W may motivate them to stay, along with the fact that State College is a pretty special place to go to college and play football.
Dixon, Howard, Kemajou, Tatsch, Coleman, and some others could be a big part of the team for the next couple years.

The play calling on offense has changed since Franklin was fired. More mixing up the run and pass, catching the defense off guard more often.
I wish they could just take the interim tag off, but a lot of staff and players will be going south. We're going to need a coach who can bring in replacements.

It seemed on a couple of Nick's run that Dawkins told him to just follow him cause he was going forward!!
Nebraska hasn't been great on the lines this year, but I feel like we're finally playing up front the way we expected after last season, when we were running through teams. I think Franklin committed coaching malpractice by trying to change too much, thus making things too complicated. We'd probably be 9-1 if he had built the offense around Kaytron and stayed with the attacking style of defense our guys were used to.
